Journaling for the End of Year

As the year comes to a close, you may feel a pressure to set a "New Year's Resolution", and to focus on what comes next. Before you rush to start new projects, or panic to move on to the next phase, we would like you to pause, and take a moment to reflect.

You experienced a full rotation of the sun. You experienced joys and hardships. You owe yourself some credit, and in reflecting on the things you've experienced, you can have a better grasp on what you want for 2026

Here are some journal prompts for reflection:

  • What hardships did I overcome this year?

  • What is a new skill I developed, or what skill did I improve?

  • What was the most valuable lesson I learned this year?

  • How have I changed this year?

Writing unlimited lists pushes you to really expand your thinking, and focus on a particular subject. Here are a few list ideas to bring you joy:

  • What people did you spend time with, that made you happy?

  • What are things that you experienced that made you laugh?

  • What is at least one thing you are thankful for, from each month?

  • In what ways did you make yourself proud this past year?

In our next Newsletter, we'll explore some intention setting for the new year, and resolution setting alternatives, and ideas.

What candles should we make next?

We value your thoughts and opinions. If we do not have a candle that meets your needs, or if you have an idea for a candle you think we should make, let us know using the link below!

We’ll chat again in the next newsletter.

Until then, be well friends. 🌙
